Happy F’n B-Day to us!! SLAYER had their decade of aggression and the CRÜE had their decade of Decadence. Let’s consider this episode the celebration of a Decade Of Radiation. Since 2006, the mighty RAM has been terrorizing the Internet, making it one of the longest running programs of our format. Despite celebrating a milestone, we’re not one to rest on our laurels. RAM prides itself on covering all the diverse sounds and sights of our beloved music. So we chose to reflect that by featuring artists from opposite ends of the aggressive music spectrum. First off, we speak with (Nuclear Blast recording artists) EPICA‘s Mark Jansen. The guitarist discussed all things Epica including their latest record and put to rest some misconceptions about another one of metal’s Jansens. Next up is a long overdue chat with the godfather of Canadian punk, D.O.A.‘s Joey Shithead. In a bucket list moment, he discussed being punk piss and vinegar in his 50s, his political activities, and some now famous former members. That’s Mr. Shithead, thank you. In our News, Views, and Tunes, we reminisce about some of our fave Creature Features, pound back some Lemmys and “one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer”! Finally we crank some Epica, DOA, introduce MORKOBOT, and give ‘er with some live DIRKSCHNEIDER! Horns to another 10 years!
